What air filter is everyone running?
I used to have a K&N, but when I saw how bad their filtration is and how much junk potentially lands up in your engine, I went back to a paper filter for the time being.
Are there any good filters out there that don't require oil?

yeah i was seriously gonna jump on the k&n bandwagon a few months ago until i read a bunch of threads about people having problems with oil from it on their maf. also there was some website where a guy compared like 6 diff types of air filters over a period of several thousand miles on his car and the k&n did let in a bunch more dirt. so i'm just sticking with the stock fram for now.

Mine gets dirty fast and still using the same K&N filter since '01 - no oil problems on the MAF as long as you don't over oil it. At the track I pop in my original stock filter.

Yeah I heard good things about the Amsoil filter. I don't think anyone carries it, so did you order yours from the directly or where did you get it from?
Thanks for confirming my suspicions guys!

Amsoil EaA filter here! Great filter media and better flow than a typical paper filter and best of all you don't have the poor filtering and restriction caused by the filter loading with dirt.
For a stock replacement
http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eaa.aspx
and if you need a cone type filter with the same media
http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eaau.aspx
Order through the Amsoil store, they usually ship from a local warehouse. I would suggest joining the preferred customer program to get a better price.
