o2 sensors
How many o2 sensors do we have on our cars stock? I just put my headers in and am putting my extensions in, and I have the passanger side done...but the drivers side, the only place to connect it I see is like...over the top of the trans, is that right?

Yes I know that, but I can only find the one the connector that is near the linkage on the drivers side, is that the right one to plug my front o2 extension into?

The front two are mounted on the K member, physically clipped to it.
the Pass side rear is mounted on the tranny crossmember, the drivers side one is on the tranny itself, (sounds like the one you found).

Ummm...yeah, driver's side (bank 1) forward sensor (sensor 1) connector is about a foot ahead of the oil filter sitting on the k-member. The ones over the trans are the rear sensors (sensor 2), which are for measuring catalytic converter efficiency.

More simply put, there are four O2 sensors.
In relation to the flow of the exhaust there is ...
One on each side BEFORE the cat.
One on each side AFTER the cat.
Just keep the ones before the cat and have those plugged in to the extentions. I had to remove mine with a torch.
Ditch the rears and have the codes tuned out.
