Will that 4 wire sensor work for us?
Justin
Do we need a heated sensor? I know the factory ones are heated but dont you just have to give them a few minutes and they heat up by themselves? With Prochargers you're not supposed to go over 2Krpms until at operating temp anyway so wouldnt really matter to me. I hope somebody can tell us if we can use these sensors.

Do we need to run heated o2 sensors? I think LT1's, maybe just obdII cars raan unheated sensors, I'd like to know asap I am willing to try these.
From reading that thread it sounds like running some pump gas will clean them up if they start to slow down...
Any updates?
I went 1/2 tank of race gas like 1.5 yrs ago and it killed the 02's.
You do have to run a heated 02 sensor; unless you would like to change the harness connector on the 02 sensor. You will most likely get a DTC for 02 sensor heater circuit, that could always be tuned out.
On some early model (89-91etc) GM trucks i've heard of independant repair shops offering to install a heated 02 sensor+heater realay and circuit, many of thoes trucks get a surging misfire at idle. The belif is the heater circuit maintains 02 sensor voltage at idle where there is less exhaust pulses the sensor may not be able to maintain a consistant voltage. The 02 sensors chemical reaction that creates voltage needs heat in order to conduct itself, thats why you see companys now or california emissions cars switching to air fuel sensors they don't need a warmup time.
Ive ran alot of leaded race gas with no problems so far...they plug right in
it reaches the active element of the sensor . This is how they work their magic. In testing they are at least twice as tolerant of silicone and lead poisoning.Hope you
like them ,I do.
