Which muffler sounds best?

Which muffler sounds best? My 2000 Z28 M6 has a borla muffler. Is there any other mufflers that are better sounding while still staying loud? I have aluminum shortys and a K and N intake. The cats have to stay on. Thanks

Unfortunately it's too subjective of a question. Ask 100 people and you'll nearly get 100 different answers. There are sites up on the net with sound clips of different exhausts. My suggestion is to listen to as many as you can either in person and/or through sound clips.
My favorite is a true dual setup. We've had just about every type of exhaust on our project F-bodies and (in my opinion) none come close to the true duals we put on 2 of our cars.

I like spiral flows, but they are on TDs, not sure how it'd sound on shorties... Best advice is listen to as many as you can in person then make the call.
