can you solder O2 sensor wires?

if your melts the wires coming out of the harness, and you cut them out and solder new wire in?

Yep shouldnt hurt any thing, i just used some gm style heat shrink butt connectors on mine and they work great! Use your preference!!!

damn cause I just did and my car is still slightly bucking while cruising. its annoying as hell.

plug in a scanner and see if you are getting a good reading from the O2 sensor and that it change as you would expect or jumping up and down...

I tryed to extend the factory o2's when i first installed my headers. They started giving problems almost immediatly after, they kept giving me low voltage codes, i ended up just going down to the autopart store and getting Bosch 13111's. The Bosch 13111's are Corvette rear o2's, alot of guys use them...

you could have had a cold solder joint that could cause some connectivity issues

I extended a set before and they worked fine for a long time. When i swapped them the last time though I just went with the 13111's, they come with long wires.
