Default PCV fresh air line: ok for breather?

Is it ok to put a breather filter on the fresh air line that goes to the TB for the PCV?

I would *THINK* it would be ok since I am not running a MAF so there would be no issue with the air not being metered. This way the line is still connected and drawing air into the manifold, but I remove that other line as a possible source of oil entering the system.

Thanks.
