Jet-Hot Longtubes?
I had to remove spark plugs for the headers to fit up into place, and that was it. No cutting anything off the side of the block, no oil filter removal, no steering linkage removal, no nothing...Piece of cake. I did remove the passenger side coil packs to get a little more room to bolt them on though. Spent about 3.5 hours in the driveway, by myself, and I thought they fit alot easier than I had read and heard they would. I'll have to spend an hour or so tomorrow to finish up the AIR removal and throwing some new O2 sensors in. Darn parts store didn't have Bosch 13111's so they gave me a cross referenced number, which didn't have long enough pigtails on them. I'll have to lengthen them tomorrow at work.
Overall...very pleased with the fitment of both the headers and the Y pipe. Cannot wait to fire it up and hear what it sounds like through my used $200 Borla catback...
Even better with a cam. I think the Jethots are worth the extra $125 over Pacesetters. I don't care what you say, you get what you pay for. Mine slid right in as well, didn't notch anything, just needed the driver side eng mount to be a poly one. $200, what a deal. Thats why Pacesetter's will start to rust around the collectors.
Jet Hot coat the inside and outside of the header, and with thier much better "Sterling' coating.
Jet Hot coated headers will run cooler and stay in better shape longer.

when i ordered my Jet Hot headers several years ago from them they had told me that the exact things that they had upgraded from the Hooker design, but it was so long ago i'm having a hard time remembering the specifics.
mine have some surface rust from where i have driven them in the rain, but the coating doesn't seem to be flaking off... hopefully it won't.
