Default bullet dumped off y-pipe?

anyone have any ideas how loud it would be with a single bullet muffler dumped at the end of the y-pipe? would it be much quieter than just the cutout I have right now in the i-pipe.

does anyone have this type of setup with a sound clip since they don't have any on ls1sounds.

thanks

it will be pretty loud......when I had pacesetter longtubes, ory, and LM2, my buddy had stock headers and y with a dynomax bullet muffler dumped right off the y on his '97 LT1 and it was nearly as loud as my car....

do you know is it about as loud as a cutout in the I-pipe though? I am wanting something quieter than the cutout but cheap. and not full exhaust.

The bullet will get rid of the rasp and quiet it down a little.

I'm running lt & ory with 3" pipe from the y to a 3" by 6" round magna flow muffler with a dump and it sounds awesome! I fabbed it up myself for under $100. It's tame at idle and loud at wot.

I run a SLP resonator off my tsp ORY. I love it. If I have to do any work that involves taking my exhaust off it takes 5 minutes to be down to open headers. I have maybe $150 in my exhaust setup. Heres a clip my idle is kinda weird sometimes it sounds like a tractor then she straitens out. Enjoy
