The damn cowl! There is sharp plastic that goes along the entire edge. The pins that are on my bolts hold my wiring in several spots. I guess because mines a 98?

Somehow mine leaks and I have a bag over it now since its tore apart. It's quite an inconvenience.

no even worse than those annoying little studs off the coil packs are the stupid little plastic clips that hold the brake lines close to each other on the drivers side fender wall. When i was doing my valve springs i could have ripped it all out of there...must have cut my arm a dozen times

i thought the spikes were braille. they tell blind people that "these are the coils" when theyre working on their cars, that way they dont electrocute themselves when the car is running. the plastic pins on the firewall say "caution: sharp".

GM should make their design engineers take prototype cars home for DIY carwork so they would see what it's like.

Whenever I work by there, I just easily pop those sharp plastic cowl screws right out before hand. Anytime I take it to the mechanic I always tell them that but I don't think they do it, so I look at their arms the next day...
