Just pull out all the hoses and plug all the holes. On the back of the driverside valve cover is a hard plastic line goes in. I cut it off leaving about 2inch so I could slip a plug over it. There is an adapter that fits where your oil caps is. It cost like 50 bucks. Im not sure where you can buy it, mine was givin to me.

I have the breather part that you screw in just like the oil cap and it allows you to run a old type of breather. I want the stock pcv myself.. hint hint

I capped everything up front, bought an extra passenger side valve cover and ran 2 breathers. So far no oil in the intake and tb but I'm still burning oil.

instead of buying another passenger, could i just stick a breather in the back driver side cover?

i aslo like the idea of puting 3/8 tube from cover to cover but will that allow enough air to escape just from the pass cover breather?

can i still do all these differnet setups with stock ls1 vally?

I went out and purchased the LS6 Valley cover and plug for the driverside valve cover. I also purchase a sweet catch can. Do I really need to run both or will the catch can be good enough? I'm not really wanting to cut the block. I purchase the catch can from this web site: http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/ What do you all think? Sorry about the hijack.

It helps oil from being sucked into the intake from the valve covers.

im using a breather for a bike, its cone shaped and has a rubber bottom that you tighten on with a clamp, works great and no problems here.

So a catch can will work better than converting to an LS6 valley cover?

I was thinking about ditchin my catch can for the breather just cause its a cleaner look. Will the 3/8 line across the back fit on the piece in the driver side valve cover fine? You guys still running the hose to the tb also?

Not meaning to high jack a thread, but if i wanted to change my PCV system would I have to cut the block to go to the ls6 setup? I do have an 02 ls1 from a trans am and it is an ls6 block, so...it should already be cut right?
