I have lm1, ORY, LT, and a Mild cam... Lets say it turns some heads. I get a lot of "what you got in there?" I dont mind the rasp, but the drone getting on the highway is bad. WOT sounds sick... end of story. I think I am going to switch to true duals out the back though.

I love my setup and it sounds like I have an open cutout at WOT!! It's great! And the rasp when I'm getting on the interstate is a little annoying but when I'm cruizing there isn't really a rasp or a "drone" except for certain points in the rpms.

My friends WS6 has loudmouth 1 with a slp y pipe and I think the things sounds great. Hes getting headers soon too so hopefully it will still sound good.

That's when I really started to dislike the lm, when I got my headers and ory on. I didn't think it sounded good at all with the headers. Maybe it would have sounded better with a catted y, but why run cats if it's not actively enforced in my area.

If you don't like how the LM sound then just swap the resonator. That simple.

werd!!!! you can find tons of used LM's here for cheap and just pick up a borla xr-1, even with a cam and long tubes it gets rid of the ugly rasp, and gives it a nice lower aggressive tone

LM2,ORY,QTP LT'S, CAMMED, AND STALLED. I love the way it sounds. I don't have any drone. The rasp is not something that annoys me cause I have little of it. Everywhere I go people give compliments and want to hear it. WOT is absolutely sex and driving through a tunnel or overpass is the best. It is my dd and lately police have been messing with me so I have been thinking of making it a Magnamouth just to tame it a little bit but if I get another car soon there is no way i'm touching it!!!

I had a LM1 on my car when i bought it and i really liked it. Until my buddy talked me into getting the 4" catback from mufflex its got an awesome sound and not many people have it around here so my car has a very unique sound. I just did headers and y pipe and its just amazing.

http://www.z28.com/forum/showthread....=2.........its not overwelming and you can cruise without hearing it, but go past 2 grand and its just something rediculously beautiful to the ears.....i got all the parts at jegs and the install of the long tubes and exhaust, gas filter, spark plugs was about 200, the exhaust guy put in all the tubing, yea i know its not mandrel tubing and all that ruccuss but i love it and its way faster that before, i can feel all the power in the midrange where before it use to drag a little...nothing like a free breathing car

I just got installed and i don't like it. The drone is horrible. I love the way mustangs sound.. makes me jealous almost. My car sounds like a freakin truck and it kinda makes it feel like my car is a POS

Loudmouth with longtubes and ory sounds horrible IMHO. It's so UN-refined. At idle it's fine, but there are certain ranges through the rpms under particular loads where it just sounds NASTY, and not in a good way.

My LM2 didn't sound great until I got my LTs on. It sounded good at idle and WOT but highway drone was nasty.

i had LM1 with cam headers ORY and it sounds like **** to me i then changed it to a long powerstick witch fit perfectly in the I pipe and it sounds almost like Jblindlys camaro but cammed much better its damn near not any quieter but much deeper and not as much rasp around 2k. Now iv herd LM1 Off road Hpipe on a 05+ Mustang GT and it sounded like music to my ears but mustangs always sound good.

I would have to agree got pulled over on river street and the cop said he thought I was gonna break the windows for the hotel that you drive under. HAHAHAHAHAHA I just laughed and it kinda pissed him off.

LT's NO CATS LM1......sounds priceless.....

There isnt one thing about the LM or LM2 that sounds good. It's obnoxiously loud, has ridiculous rasp and overall sounds like a dump truck/machine gun firing into a trash can.
