i (think) gains are around 7-10 rw but that is just a ballpark guess. someone may pick up more and some may pick up less, maybe alot less. i think a bigger cube mill would really benefit from porting but that's just my opinion which don't mean much .

I believ Tony Mamo of AFR charges close to $500 to port them. I do think that all port jobs are not the same. The most effective way would be to have them port matched to your heads. It would be nice if there was a thread that compared many port jobs on the same car (ie Vengeance,AFR,TEA,etc.)

I didin't take pics but if you open one up you wonder why you just paid $850 for this thing. Not only did I open up where the intake meets the head a ton, but the divit in the top of the intake protrudes into that runner. I ground it flush with no problem. If you look at the ridges on the plenum side of the ports thats where I spent about 2 solid hours smoothing everything out. I put it on my bolt on car with a cheater cam and picked up 2.5mph over a LS6.

Anyone else wonder why FAST doesn't modify the original mold to get rid of that divot and the ridges?

Sorry to post off topic...

Depending on your setup, the more radical, the more it will gain, if your buying one, just have it ported then so its cheaper in the long run, Vengence has a deal thats a killer one in the sponsor sale section. if I really wanted one, id contact them for the price.

Or get one for a good deal and plan on sending it out later, thats the other option.

I think its well worth it...500 bucks for more power all through out the RPM band...Netting about 25RWHP up top is well worth it IMO...
Look at it this way...You pay about the same amount for headers for similiar gains...And these gains are over an already well designed intake manifold...
Give Tony Mamo a PM or other vendors that can port a Fast unit for ya...
