American Racing Headers/Corsa Install (Pictures and Video)
It was a very good experience overall with the A.R. 1 3/4" LT's with catted y-pipe and Corsa's catback. Install from start to finish took between 7-8 hours. That included the longtubes, Corsa, NGK plugs/MSD wires, SLP lid, and some frustration from our own mistakes.
The A.R. headers were awesome. Fit right in with no problems. Did not have to notch/grind anything down, didn't have to remove the steering knuckle, starter, or any such item. As soon as we got the Hawk high enough, they just slipped right in.
I would highly recommend both American Racing headers as well as Corsa.
Here are a few of my 150+ pictures.
And of course here's a video...

Okay, I'm going to make a suggestion. Your video is in MPEG-1 format right now. It's 40 MB. Simply enter it into Windows Movie Maker and save it as a movie file on the highest quality setting possible. It'll compress the file into WMV format. The quality will be about the same, slightly reduced, but it'll be a fraction of the size. It's taking me nearly 5 minutes to download this file, so I figured I'd post this advice during the time it's taking for me to download it
EDIT - Okay, got it! Sounds pretty good. I guess that's what my car will sound like once I finally get my headers on

Everytime I try to open Windows Movie Maker it comes up with an error message and closes....so I got pissed off and just closed the movie in the other movie maker.
Sorry for the download time.

Shoot, I don't mind. I'm just worried about the guys with really slow internet that won't be able to view it. The camera quality is really good though, I can tell it's as accurate as a sound clip can get. I think you had fun making the movie
It almost sounds like your car has a baby cam in it at idle.

Wonder why it won't play?? Hope you can hear it because it's an awesome setup.
Might sound slightly different through the GMMG but regardless it will sound awesome!!!

Wow, you had some craziness going on here.
I couldn't convert the file. I tried 4 different programs and it crashed them all. The only thing I could do was convert it into an MPEG-2, DVD format. Once converted to MPEG-2, I was able to convert it using a DIVX Pro 6.6 codec. It was a little laggy, but it was good enough to make it so I could upload it to my Photobucket account.
Enjoy!
For all you guys having issues with the original video, I want to make a suggestion to you. Download something called the "K-Lite Codec Pack." Get the most recent version, and make sure you download the FULL version. Don't get the LITE, don't get the regular...get the FULL. It has almost every codec you'll ever need to play almost every file format in existence.

Your car is beautiful!!!
Congrats on the awesome set up!!!
I would have done AR headers with a catted Y and GMMG
How high did you get the car to be able to slip them in ???
I needed like 22 inches with my QTPs

I didn't measure how high it was...but I would say between 18-20 inches. And it slipped right in with no problems.

I'm liking the ARP stud kit as well, may have to pick up a set.
I've got American Racing Headers on my car with a true dual set-up from ARH as well and LOVE IT!
