installing a fast 90. comes with allen head bolts. i know i can go get a allen head socket. but what size torque wrench fits back in there?

i went to local parts store they only had a 3/8 drive torque wrench but the lowest setting was like 140 inch pounds.

Sears has an in/lbs torque wrench that will work.

It is a 3/8 drive.

to be honest, its not a torque-critical fastener...... so most of us just use a quarter drive ratchet... or in your case, an allen key.

its only holding an O-ring seal..

man... i overtightened a bolt on my intake manifold a couple years back... can't remember which one... think it was on the actual intake area... damn thing stripped the little metal attachment that's jammed into the manifold from the factory... fixed it with some JB weld otherwise I would have had to pick up a whole new manifold for something so stupid as an overtightened bolt...

Agreed.

Its stupid to have to redo the work because you didn't use the correct tool and messed something up(cracked intake, sealing problem, etc.).

Always remember to use loctite on the intake and TB bolts also.

+1 on the 3/8 in drive Craftsman with an allen wrench socket (I think 5mm, I had to go out and search the stores for that one!).

Use the correct sequence and torque specs or you can end up with either an intake leak which will cause some strange issues and take forever to find or snapping a bolt off in the head. (happened to a buddy of mine with the stock intake mani and bolts) took several hours to fix.

Definitely.

Autozone has a very nice allen socket kit for like $12. It will come in handy.
