Is it possibile to buy a replacement LS1 TB blade only from the GM parts counter? Or do you have to buy the whole TB?

If you can buy just the blade, does anyone have a part number?

Just one other question...again, if you can in fact get just the blade portion, does it come with replacement mounting screws or anything else, or just the blade by itself?

I don't think the blade is serviced separately. SStrokerAce (Bauer Racing Engines) has tried to find them, but hasn't found a source. If an idle hole has been drilled out too much, he has them welded up, or if the TB has been "overported" by someone, he has made a new blade in house to salvage it.

Interestingly, the screws are quite special, and not available from any commercial sources that I know of.

If you have "lost" the blade or it's been modified, you might contact BAUER, a board sponsor.

I was thinking about cutting some out on my CNC machine this summer. It's just .062 thick 6061 T6 aluminum. I was going to sharpen up the edges and drill 2 air holes once I decide on the right size. Are you in need of one real quick or can you wait a bit.

Did you get just the blade? or did you get a whole new TB. The reason I ask is that I need a new TB shaft (2000+). If you had to buy a new one, I was wondering if you'd be willing to sell the shaft.
