FTRA- WTF did I do wrong??

FTRA- WTF did I do wrong?? A long time ago I bought a FTRA setup, and just now got around to installing it.
I have never in my life bought a product for a specific application that fit so damn poorly.
I had to bend the $#!+ out of the lower plate right below the "wings" so that the bolt hole for the hood latch support would even be in the same neighborhood. Then I had to bend the $#!+ out of the back part of the top flange so that the radiator support could actually sit far enough down for the radiator pads to hold the radiator.
All I can figure is that I must have been doing something WAY wrong, 'cause everyone talks about how easy it is to install... I just hope that it works bettr than it installs...

Seriously... I'll bet it took a good hour and a half, and that's with a lift, etc... it just did NOT want to go... however, in the end, I just had more "you're gonna" than it had "don't wanna"...

Re: FTRA- WTF did I do wrong?? Mine was easy to put in but it was a bitch to line up that bottom plate, I actually took off the top plate and lined up the bottom plate to convince myself that it did indeed fit

Re: FTRA- WTF did I do wrong?? I to had some problems with fitment. I had to ovalize the bottom mounting holes for the kit to work. All in all the mod was worth the effort. Still no track times yet.
