Default exhaust loss without mandrel bends

want to look at getting a 3 inch true dual over axle setup from local exhaust pro shop. how much is lost in efficiency using a regular bending machine versus mandrels? e.g. the 3 inch is "squished" to 2.75 inch on a bend? trying to compare efficiency vs cost. maybe look at a combination of using regular bends for less than 45 degrees and mandrel bends greater than 45?

We tested 2 systems with the same muffler, pipes ran in the same locations, but one was compression bend and the other was mandrel bent. We gained 15 horsepower

better off buying some mandrel bent exhaust piping from summit or something and then having them weld it together. You might as well just do a catback that is mandrel bent instead of running non-mandrel duals, especially if you are going FI.

your best bet is to call speedinc or another shop familar with running TD setups out the back because I know they do custom setups and they can help you get the parts you need to have one installed. They also carry universal custom kits like this http://www.ls1speed.com/cont.cfm?cid=C0000033 but it dumps at the axle.
