Ok Cobra I've stayed quiet so far but just to let you find out yourself all other manufactures use 304 stainless to make their headers. Ours are made out of 321 stainless. I won't waste my time telling you what the difference is between them I'll let you do a search and find out who makes the inferior products. I have also been evolved with LS1's for a lot of years and have seen how expensive after market parts are for them. This is why I made a deal with a manufacture to make a better stainless headers than anyone out there and at a reasonable price. Everybody knows you never pay what it really cost for a part you pay for what it's for. Why do you think a corvette header cost $400 more than a camaro header. It's not because it cost more to make. I for one got tired of over paying for LS1 parts and made a deal with this manufacture to make LS1 headers of better quality at a reasonable price. The downside of this is everyone thinks because there cheaper then there cheaper made which is the totally opposite. We are just not as greedy as the other company's. We make very little money on these headers. We only make them to give LS1 owners a better quality product at a realistic price.

i have a set i hate them. no tech support what so ever the left side header was sitting on the k-member up near the engine mount. my car was vibrating like hell i took them off. i did pm the guy on here selling them back in sept. no response( i bought mine on ebay before he started selling them). in my opinion if you want just performance go for it, (they made a huge difference) but i also need quality and a little comfort. my friend has hookers and a cut out and with no issues what so ever. by the way these xs headers and y-pipe r for sell pm me

There are fitment issues with most installs of these headers, so everybody should be prepared for that. But one of mine had a manufacturing defect and it was replaced promptly no questions asked. Great customer support.

i bought mine back when they were solely an ebay product, it was a LONG time ago, i think the XS king tainted pmed me for info on these.

i havent had any major problems with mine, fitment needed some work, but so do slp lids. I never had a banging y pipe or a messed up collector angle though. You are buying a MOD, if MODIFYING your car to make something fit isnt what you want then stick to what GM gave you originally. Its really as simple as some headers slide in some dont regardless of the make. There is a thread right now about how a kid is having a hard time getting his QTPS in.

Now i dont believe these are just the same as the high end three makers, but considereing the price difference, there are some that are right for some and some that are right for others. If i could have afforded any of those three when i went headers, i would have gotten them, the HVMC sounds really cool, but instead i used the difference to buy a Gibson Les Paul, and im really happy with that. SO yo ujust have to weigh your final goals, Overall im extremely pleased.

Well now. I'm not sure what you mean by there not the same as the high end three makers since we use a much higher quality stainless than anyone else uses. The other companys don't use the stainless we use because it cost to much. Also from what I have seen myself our welds are alot better than any other manufacture. Yes some people have had fitment problems but like you said that should be expected with any mod. Our only problem is we tried to offer a better product at a reasonable price for F-body owners and we keep getting slammed for it. We could have started out selling them for $1200 and everybody would have probably thought they were the best thing out there But just to prove our point stay tuned for what we have coming out very soon and compare it to what the same thing would cost you from someone else. And we will still be using 321 polished stainless steel But I'm sure there will still be alot of people think they have to be junk for the price we are going to sell them for.

The only thing I ask is that anyone thinking our product is inferior just do a search and see the difference between 304 stainless that everyone else uses and 321 stainless we use and then tell me who has the cheaper product.

I love mine, little problem with the driver's side collector.
If I were to do it again, I'd buy these headers AGAIN

thats cool, i didnt mean to come across as saying that the headers are inferior, but the collectors for some QTP's, Kooks, and ARH all are HVMC's, given thats not a HUGE thing, but for someone going for a 346, 500hp NA motor, thats something that needs to be there. For me, thats not in my goals, it would be nice, but not going ot happen.

I LOVE my headers, the ground clearance is awesome the welds look great and the material used is definalty some of hte best out there, and for <$500 its one of the best modifications out there to get these headers, so keep up the good work and to anyone looking into these, rock on. (Im so glad I can say that now, I remember when yall werent a sponsor)
