ok i jsut read all 17 pages of this thread. and all eleventy billion of the other thread from a year ago..
All i gotta say is good luck Charlie. Looks like you have a finally touched the learning curve.
I have a 228/232 cam and i am using 7.425 PRs... Now my heads are stock 241s and are not milled, so i have no idea what affect that has with using the 7.3 PRs...
but anyways, good luck i am antisipating the start up video

did even more today. Lined up my front bumper better closed the gaps on the fenders, working on finishing up the passenger headlight this weekend and tracking down the hood latching components. Also have all the exhaust tied up and adjusted fairly well. just need to mount my POS spohn d/s loop. Also got the fans in and hooked up, all the water hoses are hooked up as well and the air lid tray is on.
sorry no pics, I'll get them tomorrow

boy oh boy did I work my *** off today!
Finished all of the exhaust, its wrapped in heat tape, fully adjusted
oil pan is all bolted up and theres now oil in the car
got the tranny dipstick tube in and the oil tube
did some more body work
serviced the rear end
all connections are hooked up except for the obvious ones (intake coils injectors)
valley cover is off awaiting LS6 PCV

OK good news.....
The car cranked.....and started right up!
The bad news.....
Oil pressure never came up. He let it run for about 10 seconds and then shut it down. Sending unit is hooked up. He did re verify there was oil in the motor. the oil pump is brand new so I dont think its that. He's going to crank it some to see if the system primes up.
Suggestions?
