Default Quietest mufflers, yet high flowing...

I have had quite an experience with a loud exhaust

my setups so far have been:

stock catback
LM
LT ORY LM1
LT ORY Dynomax bullet
LT and 2 bullets dumped H pipe..

Im tired of my car being so loud... not exactly tired, but dont wanna attract lots of attention due to police and complaining neighbors..

yes I know, screw them, but thats beside the point. Id rather get a quieter exhaust...

Now what I am looking for is a quiet muffler. I wanna go back to a Y pipe setup maybe...

The only problem is I want soemthing with good flow, because Im installing my heads and cam next week and will be making a good 430+RWHP.... stage 2.5 5.3l heads and a torquer 3 cam..

I wanna be quiet as possible without loosing too much flow.

what is the best on the market for my application?

Hooker aerochamber? magnaflow?

I really dont know what to choose at this moment. I mean I like the type of sound the dynomax with ORY and LM made.

I just want a quiter versiona nd I dont wanna run any cats...

any suggestions?

magnaflow is very free flowing and not too loud at all. Plus it is stainless.

Hooker aero chamber is the most quiet I have had, It sounds like a bone stock mustang and I picked up tq over the true dual set up I had.

Magnaflow is quiet and sounds good on low hp applications. On my buddys t/a with 475rwhp it sounds good at idel but gets a scratchy, pingy sound when in high rpms, sounds bad. Not recomended with upcoming upgrades. go for the hooker

Im lookn for quieter exhaust too, im thinkn h-pipe into stock mufflers and e-cutouts (for the wild hairs). H-pipe and delta flows make a great head snaping sound but not good for late nights comin home or road trips to the g/fs

Of the ones i've had (Magnaflow and Dual/Dual) I'd say the Magnaflow sounds awesome w/ stock manifolds/cats. It just sounds nasty up top w/ LT's and ORY.

The dual/dual however sounds great everywhere and is very quiet, w/ the exception of WOT. Then it just freaking ROARS. Dual/Dual is supposed to flow with the best of the aftermarket group as well.

I've had good luck with covering the exhaust pipes/muffler with Thermo-tec products (30 road trips between Phoenix and LA will make you look for ways to make the car quieter). In particular, the shield that covers the intermediate pipe made a significant reduction in interior noise, plus adding shorter sections to the over the axle segment and wrapping the muffler helped too. I'm running a FM SUV muffler (single in-dual out, a home-made 2OTL). I didn't notice a performance difference when I switched out from the 80-series muffler, but I did notice a decrease in interior noise.

It seems like all I am posting about lately is my exhaust...oh well haha.

Another vote for Magnaflow. I can't believe how quiet my ORY, H/C setup is with a Magnaflow Race Series muffler. It has a very unique sound, I love it.

Dual/Dual sounds awesome aswell, but slightly harder to come by.

dude i think you would like magnaflow i have it on mine its real deep its louder than stock but not racer/rod status. its more of a i have a sweet v8 but im not a show off sort of thing. and i can feel it work performance wise. it doesnt sound that great at mid rpm's but its ok at high rpms. im trying to get rid of mine cause i want that deep tone (which i already have) but i want it to be louder and more aggressive, so im going with powerstick(s)
