How much of a gain should I see?
Alright, just bought a 98 LS1/T56 out of an SS, going into my 96, I will have the following mods when it is installed:
F1 Lightweight Flywheel
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Hooker Pro Comp Long Tube Headers
X-Pipe with Dynomax Bullets
Hurst Competition Short Throw
Cold Air Intake w/ K&N
Other: (Not sure if these will help the track time)
315/35ZR17 Nitto's
LCA Relocation
LG Motorsports Super Springs
ES Torque Arm Bushing
Skip Shift Delete
!Air
Rev limite moved up
!Cats
Basically wanna know how much I should gain over stock, I know at the local track ive seen stock ls1's run 8.8-9.0 in the 1/8, what kind of time could I expect, and maybe compared to stock power how much I should gain. I know it wont be exact but educated guesses will do. Thanks

you mean over the stock LT1 in your car now??
or power over the stock LS1 rating?
over the ls1 rating...figure 25hp for the LTs and duals...and 10 for the CAI setup.
the flywheel will free up more power to the wheels...but how much depends on how light it is. very possible to see a few hp and 10+lb of torque from it i would think.
figure that setup would typically run a high 12 sec 1/4 mile....assuming traction.
what gears are out back??

this has nothing to do with an LT1, my 388 is gone and im not comparing them. I was wanting to know exactly what you stated. I am running 3.42's rite now. Planning on 4.10, just wanted to see what it would run like that.

not redesigned, they just took the 93-97 frame and bolted some different fenders on it and its only longer due to the body parts. the frames are the same, will fit, just have to use LS1 kmember. If a LS1 will fit in a datsun itll fit in a lt1 fbody.
