Put a bullet in the i-pipe with a cutout behing it. That'll be "loud and deep," and only cost you around $80 for the parts and prolly $30 for install.

...But if I'm choosing between the 2 cat-backs, I would go with the Hooker.

I've heard good things about the Hooker. But I have the Loudmouth (just put it on a couple days ago) and so far I LOVE it. I can't believe anyone could complain about the loudness. I think it sounds awesome. If you want people to stop and look while you go down the street, I'd go with the Loudmouth. But either way, good luck with your choice.

I've had both. I loved the LM when I was still on stock cam with cats, it had a great sound, and with 4.10's I had little drone. After I gutted my cats & cam install it waassss crazy loud I installed the Hooker and it was perfect! More refined than the LM imo and deep tone with no rasp or drone.FWIW.

I say get the hooker so you can have it quiet when you want and a qtec so you can make it real loud with the flip of a switch. This setup works pretty good for me now. I had the loudmouth and it after awhile ended up being to loud for me for everyday driving but after I got rid of it I missed having it loud on occasion which is what led me to this hooker qtec combo.

If your going to be keeping your cats go with the Loudmouth, the Hooker will be to quiet IMO.

I have a loudmouth with dynomax bullet instead of the rsonator. I love it. It is not too loud and hte drone is almost nonexistent. This is good for me coz i am already on the local cops hit list. just my 2 cents
