What is the quietest straight through muffler?

What is the quietest straight through muffler? I have dual 3" bullets right now, would like to quiet the car down some while not losing any power. From what I have read the XR-1 is my best bet, any other options?

Any straight through design you get is going to be loud as hell...especially if you are looking for something similiar to the bullet styles...for true dual exhaust system...but if you are going w/the stock setup the hooker muffler is pretty quiet and performs good...

then dual XR1's with the same dumps.
Much better.
Just heard my friend's Edelbrock RPM mufflers, sounds the same as my old XR1's.
I have dual 3.5 inlet Flowmasters now, I have not heard them yet.
The XR1's and Edelbrocks are pretty aggressive sounding and are by no means quiet the car will still get a lot of attention at lights.

Re: What is the quietest straight through muffler? Thanks PSJ. Was the cabin noise managable with the XR-1s? I still want the car to turn heads but don't want to have a headache for long road trips 
Re: What is the quietest straight through muffler? Depends on your level of tolerance. I would want it no louder than it was with the XR1's... it had a mean deep sound and you could really hear the cam, but all my neighbours knew when I was pulling in at 2am.

Any muffler you can see straight through is going to be loud.
I also had a 4" Dynomax welded round muffler and actually it was pretty quiet except at WOT.
