Default what to do with the pcv system

my '02 SS has about 68000 miles on it and i want to sea foam it. i figure before i do that, i might as well replace the pcv system. i've heard a few ways to go about doing this but what is the best thing to do to it?

It's not emissions friendly, I think that's why the "DR use only", but I haven't used it and don't know too much about it. I have heard that it works quite well though. There's an old thread in here somewhere about it. Pretty sure Orange uses it.

well i think i'm going to go with the catch can i found from thunder racing. now does this replace all the pcv hoses and valves and whatnot with the can and the two short hoses? and is there any maintenance involved with this setup?

Here's a pic of my Thunder can. Still have the PCV valve, in the valve cover. The only maintenance required is emptying the can once in a while.

thanks for the pictures, i think thats what i'll go with. was it a pretty simple, straight forward instal? was the tube that leads from the can to the back of the motor very hard to get hooked up?

id think just using a breather would be the easiest since there is no chance for it to get back into the intake

well, from what i read about the breathers, the problem with it is it makes the car smell like oil and that the oil gets on the bottom of the hood. besides the catch can is nice and easy, u can go to home depot or lowes and make one urself.

many of those pan evac systems require absolutely no backpressure to be able to properly scavenge the crank case vapors. Im not sure really whether or not they really work on street car type setups.
