take out the stock exhaust and buy a used one, i had a guy sellin TSP True duals for 125 locally... find a used loudmouth, it sounds GREAT with stock manifolds/cats... headers and ory.. different story.... has me welding in a borla xr 1 as we speak.

and a bigger ypipe can help too, ive got random tech cats/ypipe for the stock manifolds im sellin for beans locally, check local messageboards (scared to say cuz they not a sponsor)

QTP Electric cutout is the way to go. If you cant afford electric get a manual and you could always get the electric part later. If you get an electric when you run the wire, make sure you run it towards the front of the car. Theres a predrilled hole under the passenger side rear seat but if you run the wire there the exhaust will eventually melt the wire. Ive had both the plate and electric and I hated everyday I had the plate.

If you truly want the cheapest and loudest, remove your exhaust system up to the headers and turn em down but cut outs are the best thing to do. manual cutouts only run about 20-30 and electric can run anywhere from 200-500...or you can make them yourself out of a butterfly valve and a solenoid motor.

I disagree with the above post......but of course it is just my opinion.I have the Loudmouth without cats along with a set of Dynamaxx headers and my **** is way loud but still sounds good.It is loud enough to wakt the neighbors and make small children cry when ya sneak up on them at the mall and throw them a rev.
Of course this can not be done for 200 dollars.

Go with the cutout

Here is hands down the CHEAPEST way, its actually free.

All you need is a screwdriver, flat head or philips, whatever... All you gotta do is go under the car and punch a shitload of holes in the muffler and tada!

without reading everyone elses' responses, i'd say the CHEAPEST way to make your car loud - hack saw the muffler off, that will make it loud, if you want to invest a little money then go to the nearest exhaust place and have them weld in a pipe in it's place so it runs out ur tips and not under the car.

buy dynomax bullet weld it in after the Y pipe. cut out the rest of the exhaust after the dynomax bullet , so that way you remove the muffler. so you spend like 25 bucks on the bullet muffler and youll need some cutting tools and a welder.
