Mods like the ported TB are complimentarry AND cumulative..... If 6 mods give you 5rwhp a piece - you do it.
When you start adding that to the relative "biggies" like H/C, Tune,etc... before you know it you have a beast.

If you choose to port it yourself be sure to clean it out completely! Also, be careful not to grind too much around the blade opening itself. I just finished porting mine for a second time with a file and it came out good. Even though I was paying attention to not grind through the metal, I broke through in one spot and just JB Welded it; no big deal. Just pay attention.

Oh, and I think I've read it's not good to try to change the opening of the IAC opening as it could cause a drivability problem.

no it doesnt ive filled mine and then ported it and did all the other mods and my car drives great

Its a great mod and Tims work is great I just got mine from him and it made a big difference to my cars performance.

ive done this 2 several throttle body and sold them 2 people and never got a compliant yet 100 or so later

Did mine myself. I would definitely do it or have it done. The bump stop is a must! I gained throttle response and some track time.

New Era Performance is good and they are sponsors, there are also a few guys on here that arent sponsors that do a great job.

I just did mine myself though with a dremel and some time, pretty easy, not as good as a proffessional one, but i didnt pay for anythning but hte dremel
