Either or; they're just different head styles. Do you want hex or 12 point? Shouldn't really matter, once they get rusted I would think a 12 point might be easier to get off. The last part number is for the collectors, not the header to manifold bolts.

i'm curious, why people use these on LS1's? arent they designed to lock up against the header primary? LS1 heads/headers arent designed this way...

You're right, I don't think they should either but if that were a concern 12 points may be the better choice. They look cooler too.

I dunno... I did some research and seems like the people using them are really happy with them... I know TAINTED has some on his...

hell, i'd take one stock bolt (or find the thread and length specs), then go to Ace Hardware and spend ~$10-$15 on stainless bolts and locking washers instead.

the locking part of the stage8 on an LS1 just doesnt make sense.
you'd be better off wiring locking the bolts IMO. if, you must have a locking style header bolt...
