Anybody done this mod to TB bypass? (pics)
I have not just bypassed my throttle body but also blocked off the radiator and tubing ports. Has anybody done this? Any ill effects?

I wouldn't do that either unless you install a manual bleeder on that coolant line. It's very important to the coolant system bleeding setup.

i used the bmr kit. but it looks as if you blocked off the tubes and you havent run the lines together. your setup looks totaly different than mine

Yeah, if anybody could find out more info about this mod that would be great, 'cause i pretty much did the same thing larry did. i read it in an ls1/ls6 performance book, and that was one of the mods they said was worth doing. i didn't read anything about connecting any lines together, nor did it say anything about the heads.

you need to connect them together or install a manual bleeder valve..
the air will go to the top of those tubes, but has no way to escape now.

Yea, run it back to the radiator like everyone else said.
I tried a "New and Improved" TB bypass mod.. I got a windshield washer tank and motor, hooked it up to the throttle body and battery, then to a switch. I put coolant and ice in the tank. I figured it would cool the air better at the strip kinda like a "cool can" cools gas.
Didn't see any gains with it and took it off. Looked like a rig {which it was}. Worth a try though. Didn't lose anything but my time.
