Default 99 Z28 throttle body on a 00 SS

as the title says..i have a possible chance to get a ported and polished stock throttle body of a 99 Z28 for cheap and i know that the throttle bodies changed a little i think in 00 and up models..will putting this 99 tb on my 00 SS create any issues..i also have an LS6 intake that will be going on as well..

No problem at all. It will fit. My car is a 2002 and has a ported, polished, and epoxied throttle body from a 1999 car.

It's been a while since I've swapped out my TB, but I believe the 00-02 TB's have the larger cam on them, and the 98-99 TB's have the smaller one. I "think" they switched to the larger cam in 2000. If that is the case, then you can just take out the blade and swap over the whole cam and blade section to your new TB. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there.

You will need to swap out the shaft. No big deal.

Doesn't matter if it helps as long as you keep your avatar.
