Default Anyone running the WS6 lower air box on a Camaro?

I hear that the lower air box on a WS6 is more opened in the front, thats why Im considering using one. I was also wondering what all has to be done in order to use one in a Camaro? The Stealth kit is out of the picture because I just replaced my Whisper lid with a TS&P. Why does the WS6 have a bigger front opening anyway? Thanks

I am running one. The only way to do it is with an Ultra-Z hood. That hood provides the necessary clearance for the larger intake hole.

Is it possible to use the SS hood with a WS6 lower air box? If so, what has to be done? I want a bigger opening in the front and the WS6 lower box was one of the suggestions. Have any other ideas? Thanks

SS hood barely clears the stock Camaro box, less
than 1/4" to spare. The FRA or aftermarket ram
airs that feed the box from the bottom are the
best way to get more cross-section (although the
air slot is about 50% more area already than your
throttle body).

What is better...blocking off the front porting and using the air coming from the Fast Toys ram air kit or open up the front more? If I was to just use the air from the bottom, I would have to block off the front to get the best results from the FTRA and by doing that, they hood will be totally disfunctional. So...one ram air is better than 2? What I mean is, having sealed air coming fromt the FTRA is better than having both air come from the FTRA and the hood? If so, can you explain why? Thanks

To BigBlackZ28: How come you have to run the Ultra Z hood to run the WS6 lower air box? Does the lower air box sit higher than a SS box would? I thought only the opening would be bigger, but how does that affect how high its sits? What Im worried about is if its going to fit without any hitting, rubbing, clearance, or things of that nature. Thanks
