I have to live here and get along with my neighbors. I know most of you punk kids (defined as anyone under 25 living at home) don't give a **** what others think of you, but you should. It part of what's wrong with this country these days. I have a QTP cutout in my Borla and AFTER I leave the neighborhood it is open most of the time. I close it in drive throughs (too loud to hear) and going through residential developments to be courtious. Loud is good, but if your doing it knowing your pissing people off, it's not good. Besides...My wife and daughter aren't crazy about the noise. It's nice to be able to quiet the car down when I want to.

Re'
Wow you can't survive 15 seconds of a Mustang gong by your house? I usually get excited and run to the window when I hear a nice sounding V8 go by. To each his own I guess, have fun living a pissed off life, because if that bothers you enough to write that, then you, my friend, are doomed to misery. There are a lot of things in this world worse than a "punk" driving by in his Stang. I'm sure you've met him and had conversation with him to determine that he is a punk as well.

95% of the time I can't get my horn to work when I want it to anyways. It works, but you've got to have the magic touch.

+1, That's what will be nice about having 2 cars. I've never had them both operative at the same time, but when that day does come it will be marvelous.

Re'

You nailed it. There's no reason to be loud and obnoxious. Loud does not make your car faster.
