Plus, wouldn't emission's cost more than "your" race-style headers?

He makes only 50 bux on the headers huh? I hope your pop's doesn't run a free shipping sale or he'll actually lose money.
actually, it's true, considering the list price on the SS Auto Chrome website itself used to say $525 before shipping... the ebay auctions themselves were 299 and 49 shipping or 375 and 25 shipping depending on if it was actually the SSAutoChrome or the Powerboost29 seller.

what he makes off of it, who knows, who really cares, it's a good product and stop being such a douchebag...

a few updates ago, they mentioned there were to be no more emissions style headers, since nobody really wanted them in the first place, if they're blowing them out, so be it, let them do it. He's not selling emissions style headers anymore for the rest of us.

nobody is being a douche bag in here, except you. Your starting an argument and then getting pissy when somebody decides to talk about it. Nobody cared about how much he makes off them. But you came out and said how much he makes.

People are curious to know the differences, but your not doing too good a job of convincing anybody that the ssautocrhome ones are different. Your ruining any credit of these headers by being a dick to people.

all this drama is screwing up a potentially great thing... stainless LTs for a small price. it hurts that the sponsor has been dodgy about responding to some pretty straight forward questions/remarks. im holding out for a bit, but it's either these or QTPs.

Although the bitch fest is rather entertaining, if you want to buy them from the other place, just cut the emissions crap off and weld it shut. Then you have your race headers for $100 less you cheap asses.

That link is sooo old. AFAIK, they dont even have anymore stock on those. Why do you think they only sell the race style now?

What he sells them already includes shipping.

I know man, sucks. Profit is profit. You have to make some back too, I mean this is dumb. I don't see why everyone is getting bent out of shape here. Both sides are arguing and the rest of us are caught in the middle of it all.
Someone settle this so we can get back to the topic on hand. I just want info on the headers. Are they worth it? Will they last? And so on and so on....
All I want to know really is are they worth it? And quality...that's it.

I have them on my car. I make 340hp and run 11.40s on 8" slicks. What else do you want to know?

I'll throw in my recommendation here...

I picked up a set of these headers, and i'll tell you 100% honestly these things are built better than QTPs. Better steel, same welds, better finish. My father used to build engines for sanctioned race cars, and he says they are among the best he's seen. He's a very accomplished welder and very much likes these headers. So that's all I need to know. At this point it doesn't matter if they were made in the US, China, Bangladesh or Antarctica. When i've got three carlengths on your Kook's/AR equipped car, try to tell me I bought cheap headers.

I've got them on my car... full bolt ons minus UDP & EWP, put down 352rwhp/366rwtq, and ran a best of 12.610@110, full weight, with spare and my jacket and junk in the back. I'd say they do the job well Welds do look spectacular, driver side collector does touch the floor, but i'm having it fixed in the spring, so no biggie

well Ill stick with my tuned 1 3/4-1 7/8 stepped KOOKS headers with 3 1/2in. scavenging collectors. They Are specifically what I need. I dont like the foot long collectors on those lpp headers, nor do I think that they are tuned length primaries. I think if they are similar design to hooker and flowtech then NO they will not outperform a set of KOOKS headers. I have not heard one person mention tuned primaries, or collectors so no not all factors have been looked at.

Who gives a **** if they are XS, Ebay, LLP, OBX or what the hell ever. I bought a set of these a while back and haven't put them on yet. They look really good and "hopefully" I won't have the driver side problem.

It's business. The man is here to make money. If most people knew the mark up on auto part's they would ****. I can buy parts at cost. Does that mean when I work on someones car I am going to give everyone the price I get them for? No. Why? Because I like money.

Business is business. If one guy is selling them for 550 and the other one is selling them for 300. I guess it's your fault you didn't do enough research before you spent your 550.

People like to bitch just to have something to bitch about. It gives you a little tingle in your dick when you go on a rant.

With all the crap that is sold on Ebay shady people are everywhere. As far as I have seen since he has been on this board selling these headers he has been a straight up guy.

How much does he make on the headers? None of your damn business. I would bet companies that make headers for twice the cost probably make more.
