It's business. The man is here to make money. If most people knew the mark up on auto part's they would ****. I can buy parts at cost. Does that mean when I work on someones car I am going to give everyone the price I get them for? No. Why? Because I like money.

Business is business. If one guy is selling them for 550 and the other one is selling them for 300. I guess it's your fault you didn't do enough research before you spent your 550.

People like to bitch just to have something to bitch about. It gives you a little tingle in your dick when you go on a rant.

With all the crap that is sold on Ebay shady people are everywhere. As far as I have seen since he has been on this board selling these headers he has been a straight up guy.

How much does he make on the headers? None of your damn business. I would bet companies that make headers for twice the cost probably make more.

The Headers and Y-pipe togeather are $600 shipped
Headers alone are $450 shipped
Y-pipe alone is $250 shipped

Let me know if interested. Here's some pictures.

What brand headers are these??? I have be getting the word out and everyone loves them

The SSAutochrome Y-pipe looks better IMO.

That Y-Pipe looks like a small restriction but then again I don't know.
They are nice Headers, I understand they are T321? Don't know the difference on the steel quality but my understanding is that is the best.
On Page 2 It say's $550 with the Y, I hope that is true as I have the Money and am Looking to buy. Was really leaning towards QTP but I don't mind trying new brands and seeing what happens as long as the QUALITY and POWER gain is still close.
I need a cost with shipping please. Thanks

Is it worth getting that Y pipe, getting another companies or getting one fabbed up? My main concern is not the headers, as I think they will do just fine, but it is for the Y pipe from LPP(I think this is what they should be called from now on, not "Ebay headers or so). I don't have a lot of time to mess with the fitment, or such, as it is my only car currently and can't afford to be without it. Just wondering as a potential customer.
Thank you in advance.

wait until they get the revised one out... honestly my purchases are being put on hold till I can get ahold of one, because if I am happy with it (I'm happy enough with the original though) my exhaust is going to change ever so slightly...

it's easy as hell to put on though, I had no problems loosening the clamps I had on (I bought the ID/OD stainless straps from jegs, work great) and just jacking up on one side I was having clearance issues with originally and tightening everything back up... it hasn't leaked once since the install, and I've only had a rubbing problem once, with a very heavy friend in the passenger seat and not thinking about it when I went over a speedbump

So the driver's side collector issue has been fixed? Where can we buy these before the LPP site goes up?

SSAutoChrome website has retards working it...

The price for headers/y-pipe is currently $575.00 + shipping but below that the add states...

Retail for 550.00 elsewhere but you can get them here for less!

LOL! WTF? I wonder if this is a HINT from SSAutoChrome to pick up the phone/email them for a corrected price. The sponsor/ssautochrome haven't been able to get the story straight since I called them out in early '07. Now they are having to re engineer the original design, give it a new name, and apologize for selling bunk products. Where does the madness end.

I guess SSAutoChrome would be the answer to my question on where to get them before the new site goes up, but this thread has got me thinking about saving myself the headache and springing for QTP's...

the y-pipe is nice and reminds me of the pacesetter y-pipes. It is 3" and it is slightly flatten for more ground clearance i think this is a super nice deal and setup. I have installed these and the are great!

I'm not the one getting their panties in a bunch and crying like an 8 year old girl who just skinned her knee. That would be everyone else in this thread. I am just sitting here enjoying my cold beer in -25*F Chicago.

Like I said, I have these headers and didn't have one problem. They fit fine, seal fine, and no problems with the collectors hitting the floor. There are also a lot of people on here that have them, and are also very happy. If you searched a little bit and didn't concentrate on one thread, you would have already known that. I make great power for boltons only with the stock motor, and my track times prove it. They are the same design as the Hookers, Jet-Hots, and Pacesetters. All of them will dyno and E.T. so close, that you will not even know the difference. Buy those ones that are in your budget, but I feel that QTPs and Kooks are over priced and do not net any more power than these.

I couldnt say it better my self. I have pacesetter and they looked the same but better. My pacesetter are coated and already rusting they look good from the top but on where the y-pipe meets it looks like crap, hell my painted y-pipe isnt even rusted and held up better! You dont have to worry about that with stainless. As far as kooks or QTPs HA HA one of my friends went from pacesetter LT and TSP ORY to kooks with a AFR heads & T2 cam his car and only picked up 3whp he was pissed!!! he spent that much $ for 3whp

I just sent the $ for a pair of these a half hour ago. Being in Pennsylvania, I needed something that wouldn't rust. I couldn't justify the extra cost of Kooks or QTPs... 200+ more for QTPs for a couple extra HP when my goals aren't that extreme anyway... not happening.
