You know less than I have forgotten when it comes to dealing with these "companies".
I have yet to see a good post come out of you. I have only posted facts and corrected bullshit. If someone's first posts are as good as mine instead of like your first posts, I guess I'd like to be called a troll.

I would just like to know who this guy really is. He just joined today but sure seams to know a lot about all the threads and post about these header on Tech so he has been on the board for awhile under some other name. Since signing up this morning the only post he has made is in my thread. Sounds kinda fishy to me. Why don't you post under your real name?

Now I agree, there are some parts that cost more for a reason. Cylinder heads are one. But headers? Christ people, a set of 1,000 dollar headers are not going to give you 30 more RWHP. A better set of cylinder heads might.
I bought my set of XS, LPP, OBX, ACME whatever the hell you want to call them headers six months ago because I was worried the price would go up. Now they are coming out with an updated set of headers and y pipe.

Has anyone with a problem with the headers/seller/whatever tried PMing the guy? I don't recall anyone saying that he hasn't responded to PMs. I know he was very quick responding to my inquiry.
But if he answered the questions in this thread he would shut everyone up...By him not responding most people assume the worst.
Ok I've been staying quiet because this thread has taken a right turn from what I started it for. If you read thru all 9 pages you will see I have been answering everyone's questions.
When the bashing started it pretty much killed this thread for me.
All I can say now is yes XS headers are made by SSautochrome. They are the headers that I have been selling here. But now they will be making LS1 headers for me and they will no longer be selling their XS headers. I did some redesigning on the headers and y and they will be making my design just for me which I will be the ONLY one selling the new design. From now on they will be LPP headers and Y but will still be delivered from SSautochrome to the customers. They are drop shipped from them. The LPP headers will never be on Ebay unless I decide to put them on there myself.
So once again I'm trying to make and even better product at a more realistic price for my fellow LS1 owners. But I'm starting to think it's not worth it. When you try to do what I'm doing you catch all kinds of grief from everybody because they think you can't make a better product and sell it cheaper than the other companys out there. But I am. There's so many days I wish I would have just started out selling them for $1000 and then everybody would think there the best thing out there just because the cost $1000.

Hopefully in 30 to 60 days.
I already got the first sample but didn't like the way the collectors turned out so I redesigned them and sent the sample back. So now I have to wait until they can make the changes and send me another sample then if every thing's ok they can go into production.

i would say finish the headers...the y pipe loks great...i am gonna need some long tubes and y pipe in a few months...if the headers look good im def. gonna consider buying them from u cuz u seem to care about quality and not ripping people off...i like ur being straight up with people...screw all the haters...how much do u think the final headers and y pipe will be???
