help (LS6 intake install) coolant pipes
how do i explain my dealership what i need......
please help me so i don't make a foolish mistake ......
Looking at the bottom of your intake, you will see ribs that are 1/16" wide and about 1/8" - 1/4" high. These need to be shaved down over top of the coolant line.
You have two options:
1. Cut down all of them with a device of your choice. It's easy to do, use a sander, an exacto knife or some other sharp tool.
2. Put some kind of paint on the coolant lines, then place the intake and see where it is in relation to the bottom of the intake and remove just those areas.
The choice is yours. But it's really easy to do. Save the $50 for a couple cases of beer.
how about all of the egr stuff will all of that plug back in to the ls6 intake.....
i installed my headers and ran my exhaust last weekend and i hooked up all of the egr stuff back on to the headers ..... did i do the right thing , i guess what i am asking is will all of this stuff still work with the new intake ..... if not what will i have to do or what parts will i need for that aspect....
