The guy at the exhaust shop said that there isn't too much difference between the flowmasters and the bullets when the cam goes in. So i really dont want to spend $225 to get the flowmasters put on if its going to all sound the same in the end.

Dude, I've heard both (granted it's all in sound clips, never in person) and they sound nothing alike. The bullets sound like an old chevy truck.....****. And the chamber 1's sound awesome in the clips that i've heard. I don't see how a chambered muffler could at all sound like a bullet... I mean, you could stick your arm through your bullet, there's nothing there. But i don't know, does anyone have any personal experience between the two? B/c if by some chance this is true I don't want to drop north of $200 on it either.

I've heard both IN PERSON. There is NO comparison between the two at ALL! The single chambered flows have a completely different tone and rumble to them, while the bullets are raw, and nasty at some rpms, and not in a good way either. That guys a dumbass for saying there's not much difference between them after a cam

No man. That was their price pplus installation. They charged me $72 a muffler. So its installation and mufflers for $200. There price on the mufflers was $64 so they sold them to me for $72 a piece.

Yeah..im anxious to see how they sound compared to the bullets. They sound good in the clips...but sound clips never give any exhaust justice.

How many of you guys daily drive your cars with this setup? I know dumped TD's will be loud, but the FlowMasters will quite it down a little right?

Mine is a DD. I would see where the flowmasters would quiet it down a bit compared to dumped. Are you planning on running the pipes all the way out the back?
