volant vs. seal lid
Ironic. I just ordered the JAAM plate and Fast Toy Performance oversize lid (need a larger opening because of my 90/90/90 setup). The stuff ships Monday with an expected delivery date of 01/21/2008, so, as soon as I get it on, I'll post before and after timeslips to see what I pick up with this stuff.
Fast Toys claims you can begin making HP starting at 60 mph. Hopefully, it will give a mph difference to improve my ET .1 -.2 ... has anyone done this and had good results?
I wonder if anyone makes a VOLANT with a larger opening for a 90mm MAF?
jack there is plenty of room to port the plastic side for you 90 maf if you want. if had a chance to do it all over again i would. plus its different than everyone else's lid.
you got it from here right?

If I can pull a 1.5x 60', I'm hoping for 11.5-11.6 ET and 119-120 mph. Of course, I NEVER get what I hope for, but, I'll for sure be at least 11.8's @ 118 FINALLY. Then come the 15" Bogarts and skinnies!
Hope to see you guys at the track soon.

I did have to trim it some at an angle in order to get it to fit with my SLP lid setup, but it was really easy. I didnt have to do any additional trimming for the Volant, it fit with no problems.

NOw on a SS the lid and a SSRA kit is totaly the way to go the lid buy its self isnt that great because the SS hood dosnent work worth a poo the ssra kit comes with a peice to delete where the air coms in for the hood and then you do basicly the free air mod and put the plastic peices togather then you have a bottom feeder for air I I gained 2 10th's in the 1/4 and a cupple MPH thats all the proof I need that it works great.
