you can get the Volant for about $238 w/free shipping

I choose it over a lid just because i've had horrible luck with my lid/filter sealing enough so that crap doesn't get sucked into the engine... with the volant you don't have to worry about that...

plus it looks and sounds badass

I have my volant sealed with bgra, before the volant my slp lid was sealed with bgra and I feel a better response from the volant.

how offen are you cleaning the volant? and it looks like a pain to clean.

the volant gets just as dirty as when I had a lid and fra. it mostly gets dirty it the area where air gets through the ws6 hood.
cleaning the volant is the same as cleaning my old k/n for the lid. I still use my k/n cleaner to clean the volant and it works.

I have the SLP air lid, but im sure the Hp difference isnt worth swtiching if the volant is better. I wouldnt know though.

Yep, I agree. I also use the k&n cleaner/oil on my Volant. Didnt like the blue anyways lol!
