Default LS6 intake or replace my flowmaser first?

I bought my car with SLP LT's and flowmaster 80 series on it(pretty much the only mods). I have a lid and ported stock TB in the mail and I want to know what I should do next. I was thinking LM2 or a LS6 intake(2000 ws6 btw), as they seem like the next best performance for their prices(well the exhaust will be more for the sound, if I just wanter performance I could do a cutout, which I don't want)

Anyway, I'm sure I will eventually bet both, but which would be better first... and if they arn't really going to make that much of a difference, I will probably go with the exhaust for the sound factor.

get the LS6 intake. if you can get your hands on one for a great price get it quick. otherwise if you get a catback itll be however long till you come up on one again.

LS6 intake, the muffler isnt going to be restricting you all that much and you will see a bigger gain from the intake. But what bryan said just cut out the flowmaster and by a resonator of some sort (bullet muffler) and there's your new exhaust

replacing the muffler sounds like a good idea. do that plus get a ls6 intake. I got one plus a ported TB and can't wait for warmer weather to install them

I'd do muffler first. Like previously said, just replace the MUFFLER with a LM2 resonator and wham you're done. Better hp, better sound, etc, for CHEAP. The ls6 manifold would probably yeild the same results hp-wise but the muffler swap would be cheaper.

.......it isn't like a resonator is super expensive man...if he can afford a ls6, i think he can shell out 50 bucks for a standard resonator (unless of course he wants a name brand metal pipe)

There ya go...I don't know where you can find a cutout that's not used for that cheap but I do know you can get the Jegs/Summit ones for like 32 bucks. Either that or throw a bullet in the place of the crapmaster muffler and that would probably be just as good, and you don't have to deal with getting under the car to uncap the cutout.
