not very possible, but if your muffler is relatively quiet, shouldnt be too bad,

wow, never thought id refer to added volume as bad.....

All new headers always have that "tinny" sound, but that tends to minimize once they get carboned up some. And, if the darned things don't leak, it shouldn't be too much worse than manifolds.

Um no. They will change the sound, they will not be as quite as a stock manifold. And it the #1 factor in sound is the muffler and if it has cats.

Weird... this quiet exhaust thing has been coming up a lot lately.

Its going to get louder with any LT's you put on the car. I guess you can buy a stock cat back and run Cats.. that shoudl be pretty quiet.

Through my catback I didn't notice much of a difference. My catback is also one of the quietest out there though. Through the cutout the sound changed a ton. Much much louder. I love it.

When I put on my long tubes and ory I installed an electric cut-out and used the stock catback and add a resonator after the cut out and wile closed it sounded fairly quiet until I out the cam in.

Just finished installing SW LTs w/cats. Have a FM catback (not the 80-series) as well. I was concerned about how much more noise the LTs would add, but was quite surprised at minimal increase overall. Interior noise decreased (IMO) in steady state driving compared to stock manifolds with the same catback.
