Would i be able to use a small cut-off wheel to cut the box off at the firewall?
I used a 15 dollar grinder I bought from the hardware store.. The black plastic actullay breaks off pretty damn easy. I think after I cut into it a little, I used my hand and tore the big chunks away.

If you have the heads off and just the shortblock sitting in the car, not long at all and plenty of room... If you have your complete motor under the hood, I dont see how you can do it.

It took me an 18 pack of beer and about all day with breaks and a nap.

Yea, you are going to have to pretty much destroy it.. Then, just clean it all up and bolt up the new cover with some zip screws or whatever will work. Then just get some puddy/caulking and seal it all up.
I forgot to seal it up and was pissed due to all the work and no damn heat. Well, after having the heat on in the car and going under the hood I could feel all the heat coming out the firewall... So, I sealed it up and bam, heat is coming out on my feet.

My heater still works and it makes under the hood alot easier to work on and look better.

Well, I took out the rear seats, seat belts, the AC crap, the AIR/EGR crap anda few other things that I just did not need nor care about. When I race I take off the front sway bar as well as the STB... And, I take a big **** before hand as well, lol..

Every car is different.. I have read guys that have less power then me that are running faster then me. So, it all depends on the car, track, etc.. But, I like to have the best of both worlds, decently fast car on the street and the track. I also run my tune pretty safe as I dont want to engine to let go.

Just do what you want to do the car and have fun doing it. The expectations are hard to say as there is too many variables.

Well, my motor has 101, 000 miles on it when I did my h/c last year. I dynoed 428 and ran the time in my sig.

After I have been running the N20 this past year (~20 bottles), I decided to try and run N/A and try to improve my ET on it. But, the best I could muster, with my skinnies on, was 11.7. So, either my tune is WAY off or my engine is starting to let go. I know I have a gasket leak so I will fix that when it warms up and try again. I plan on buying EFIlive so I can tune my own ****.

A little more info on your car or plans to your car would help to guess what you might run.

Should be pretty fast. If all goes good and a nice tune, 11 sec. pass should be yours.
