Long tubes with Cats
I'm looking to get some LT's but don't want to deal with the check engine light when you don't have cats. What are some options besides programing or removing the check engine light. Are there some small or high flow cats you can run?

My cats are tuned out but I still have them. A lot of people say they make LT's sound better, less raspy. There are lots of options for LT's with a cat'd Y that fit right up to your cat back. Fyi I have the stainless Dyntechs LT's.

most shops and SOME dealers can do it, i nkow there is someone in FL that can do it for you. post up in the regional forums and see who responds
but to answer your question, i know magnaflow makes some high flows that Blur LS1 is or was using, so check some sponsors for those and see what pops up

You will get a CEL even with aftermarket cats. Most aftermarket cats are high flow (much better than your factory cats), which means even with them installed, your rear O2's will see higher temps, and thow a CEL light. Best way to fix is get a tune and get the rear O2's turned off. You really need a tune after LT's anyway.
