whats the difference in the ls1 and ls6 intake?

im trying to identify a manifold i think its an ls1 but there is a possibility that its an ls6 how do i tell?

If you flip the intake over and it is flat, it is a LS1 intake.
If is more of a "V" it is a LS6.

my ls1 intake is kind of a v and the new one is flat kind of like in the picture in the thread above

ok ill take a few pics and post them the manifold is off a 04 gto and i called the dealership and they said they only had ls1's in the 04 gto's so i dont know it looks exactly like the pic of the ls6 one on here

Im pretty sure they mean that all the o4 GTO's have LS1 engines but they should have LS6 intakes.

You have to look out because some will even have the flat bottom and wont have the egr. You have to go by the part # if the part # ends with 333 its junk.
