single cutout on I pipe??

Will a single cutout on the i pipe mess up my scavageing power?

My tuner put mine there... not sure if there is much scavenging in a Y pipe setup

it shouldnt because most of the scavenging is due to the design of the header collector.

i see that you have a custom y, how is the merge designed? is it slammed together or did you use an aftermarket merge like magnaflow or FM?

you really dont need to worry about the cutout then, everything up to htat point is already designed to maximize scavenging

thats where mine is an gained 20rwhp with it over the stock catback...

I put one on my SS and on a dyno it was good for 5 to 10 Hp over my stock exhaust ( which the stock SS exhaust is darn good)
