Default Help Surgeing

Ok, I just had my throttle body ported, and put it back on any reason would this cause surging?

Check your IAC valve and make sure the O ring is on there still, or maybe the adjuster screw on the throttle stop got tampered with.

If the IAC is restricted (like epoxy) that will make the idle
unstable whenever the motor wants more air than the IAC
can give. Been there. Conversely if there is too much air
getting past the blade, the IAC will bury trying to choke
something that it has no authority over.

Also as stated above, if he ported around the blade or knife edged the throttle blade that could cause a problem.

If done properly knife edging will not affect the temperment of the car.
