Just got Steve's intake's in and here is one of his new set-up: Super Victor, intakelbows.com elbow, UMI 90mm TB. Going in the 06 STS GTO, looks like a really nice piece with plenty of room to work with.

He has a 500 ft lb head/cam car? Thats pretty healthy

Most 346 they cross around 5700-6000. Not useable for most. Good for some. Weve done back/back stuff have some auto h/c cars, ost of our mild stuff with fast makes 410-420 on our mustang dyno and some Vic Jr nitrous stuff 440, but its only on top of 6000.

What is the power gains from a Vic.Jr. or Super Vic. compared to a LS6 intake setup?

When mapping out the cutting of the cowl, keep in mind that you could use a solid motor mount, maybe a Spohn, maybe shortened a little, to give yourself an extra 1/2", if you really needed it.

Is anyone going to try to use it with a 90" elbow, and not intakeelbows.com elbow? I have a GMPP with that elbow right now, but I realy want to get rid of it and try a Wilsons or Edelbrock elbow. Thanks

Is this the first GTO application for this or the GMPP intake FI intake?

Sorry this is so late after the threads last post, but I had to chime in. Every single motor in production will cross at 5250. I dont care what it is, how big it is, or what parts are on it. 5250 is the magic number. That is because horsepower is the result of an equation.
(Torque x rpm) 5250 = horsepower.

Yes I hear you, were not talking about hp/tq crossng that a function of the math. 5252 is actually the number I believe there. talking tq vs torque

does this have a hole tapped for a brake booster vac line like the o.g. vic jr does?
also the intakes on summit dont include rails , will any aftermarket rail work on this? or just the edelbrocks? what hp are the edelbrocks good for f.i. fueling wise?

So what makes these better than the Vic jr? Vic jr is already one hell of an intake(when you build everything to go with it anyway)
