another new ls1 intake...the lsx! this moring right before work i flipped through the new popular hotrodding magazine and the had a new 2 piece intake for the ls1-ls6 cars. didnt get a chance to read the article but the pictues looked awesome.

Re: another new ls1 intake...the lsx! not sure...only got to look at it for a few seconds on my way out the door. it said lsx cast right into the top of the 1st runner and its made out of the same stuff as the ls1 intake.

F.A.S.T. is the company making it.....it looks really wild....the runners are fatter and taller to improve volume and still keep velocity up (don't know how they pull that off but thats what their saying....).....they even mentioned something about being predrilled for direct port nitrous....
if the price stays under $1K, I'll grab one of those and make someone a good deal on my LS6 intake....

Re: another new ls1 intake...the lsx! where is there web site? im going to go try and search for it, but it would be nice for everyone to know. I would snag one too for <$800. maybe go witht he direct port juice...nice. keep my setup and go two stage? i dont know if that would be a good idea to have a direct port and regular single nozzle system, but who knows. more power!!!

I just got off the phone with them. They just got everything to start mass producing the intakes. Once everything gets set up and the production line is set up right they will be ready. Horizon time on this is Oct. and out to the public speed junkies (like us
)by Nov. The guy I talked to had nothing concrete or on paper but that is what he said. So in reality I am figuring 1st qtr. next year.
Wehn I asked about gains on a stock cube motor, he said "oh yeah there were gains, but I cant say for sure, I wasnt involved in the actual testing and I dont want to say anything until I am holding hard numbers in my hand". Cant really blame him for that. I wouldnt want to misquote anything either. He also mentioned that the cost was going to be significantly lower than any other aftermarket intake available today (holley doesnt count).
I cant wait to see what happens with this. If numbers come out good on these things I will have "YE OLE VISA" ready to go!

I stopped at 4 places on the way home from work to find the rag. NONE of them had it!! WE.....MUST.....HAVE.....PICS!!!!!
