Would take a lot to notice the tip once it's on the car though.

Actually I didnt even notice it until it was on the car and then I thought I was crazy. Then 99ZMAN pointed out he has seen it before and sure enough. It was fixed easy but the guys at the exhaust shop think Im nuts over 3/4 of an inch. So be it, I want it to be right. I didnt take any shortcuts with my Cobra and Im not taking any with my 2nd SS.

Couldnt have said it better my self, most people wouldn't care but for those that do that sucks. if it was $200 id shut my mouth but for $400 and still have to have someone else make it right ill stay away, how ever it is stainless and nice and shiny and sounds good. isn't magnaflow the only exhaust with the welded tips??? if they were slip ons problem solved.

I got lucky since Tbyrne was running a sale. It was $369 for the catback and $48 for the adjustment. I do really like how quiet it is. When I install Hooker 1 7/8 LT's, no cats and an MS3 it should still sound pretty tame.

Heck I would hollow out the TB a little more. Has a lot of meat on the inside still.

Nice addition with those mods. I used one of those little propane torches to heat the center of my pulley and it slid on like butter almost. Just had to be careful and make sure I heated all around the inside center ring evenly.

So which belts did you use with your UDP?

For the A/C did you use the 37.75" belt or the 40.5"?
For the Main belt did you use the 76" or the other?... whos part number would indicate that its a 76.3" belt...

So that TB will work with a LS6 intake? How much more airflow will it move than a stock ported/polished unit? I will have to do some searching. I thought all the aftermarket TB's for our cars were like 500 bucks.

Thanks.

I might have to look into the UDP too.

So have you had any problems with the TB on start up or idle? I am trying to talk myself out of a cam swap right now. Maybe some bolt on's will get me buy for a while.

Thanks.

Nope, it runs just fine at all times with the TB. I would do ALOT of research before you jump into a cam. I just installed an MS3 in my buddies 2000 Z28 and he HATES it.

This car is for sale......

Oh yea, it fits an LS6 just fine. It has a reducer. Great part and cheap!

Yeah I have been. Predator Z recommend the 230/224 cam. There's a guy that has a thread that has a 230/230 cam and loves it. I also talked to a guy that has the same cam I am looking at and loves it.

I am not wanting to go to big. I have seen to many people do that and be unhappy.
