Question good bye A.I.R. and EGR

im in the process of gettin ARH exhaust for my 99 ss. i wanna delete my air and egr. the only problem is... i dont know how. lol. can you guys tell me what i need to do? thanks.

The AIR system is extremely simple to get rid of. whenever you do the headers you can take care of the egr at the same time. you will need a tune afterwards to delete the codes.

Go to autozone and look for a rubber expandable freeze plug thing... It sits on top of your intake where the EGR hole is... you tighten the bolt and it plugs the hole....

Unless you are getting an LS6 intake also then just ignore what I said.

um dumb question buit y would u do this? there is obviuosly a weight reduction but if youdrve your ar more than 5000 miles a year or on longtrips wil it hurt the car will you still be able to use ac and all accessories??? sorry for the idiot question.....

All the AIR system does is pump fresh air into one of the primaries on both sides to get the cats to "flash" off faster, and once your car is up to operating temp it shuts off. So really its dead weight.

yea all it does is pump air into the exhaust it wont effect the cars drivability but make sure u do get the codes tuned out

No it will not affect anything you have listed adversely. Everything will function normally.
