the two previous owners of the car were the ones who jacked it wrong...they have been there since i got it.

i went under the car real quick today, and it looks like the mufflers have no more room to give as far as moving the rear hangers up. seems like i cut a corner i shouldnt have cut and get a used set of TD's...but god damn there is PLENTY of room for the sway bar. i can see if you jacked the car and the rear hung too low, but i dont see why they couldnt have lifted the rear and got the sway on, laziness on their part...

I'd be more pissed at that welding and the collector "reducer" pipe...

I'm going to be honest. Your entire exhaust system looks awful. Everything is rusted to hell, collectors are pinched, and the true duals are way to close to the ground.

Those guys obviously don't know what they are doing. If I were you, I would cut my losses and take it to a speed shop that only works on LSX vehicles.

i totally agree...im probably either going to buy a ORY and slap my magnaflow cat backon, or just save some money and get a quality dual set up on it.

i'm not condoning that shops work but its not like your constantly risking an accident if your rear sway bar isn't attached. you can definetly still drive it. its just gonna have more body roll. so dont be afraid to drive. but get it back on there. if the exhaust doesn't leak than keep it on there until u have enough money for a quality one. all you gotta do is raise those hangers. seems like alot less work than putting your old exhaust back on.

I went from a kick *** over the axle duals setup back to a cat back type exhaust...i got tired of the noise and the fact that these cars were not designed for duals. Maybe its something you should consider.

That is one ghetto installed exhaust in more ways than one...

Even though they should fix it I'd be scared to have them touch my car ever again.

That does look horrible....

I used to live in South Jersey, what's the name of the shop?

To get it fixed, take it up to Mufflex. They'll get you done right.

Take someone with you as a wittness. If they refuse to fix it then take legal action against their sorry asses for making your car UNSAFE to drive. That is Phucked up man!! good luck with it.

They welded your pipes to the header collectors. That alone is worth a beat down. You have no idea how hard they have made the car to work on now.

The welding itself sucks.

It looks as if the pipes run under the axles?? If so that's strike 3 and I would punch the guy out.

Since this is a "civilized" society and its illegal to knock the teeth out of someone who so richly deserves it, your going to have to eat it and redo the job the right way.

Lesson learned.
Take a welding class.

Actually a few people run duals under the axle and it turns out pretty good.
